Johannes Fünger is a partner of BLUEROPE Consult GmbH. Prior to that, he worked for more than 14 years in various managing director positions in the IT industry. In total, he can point to more than thirty years of experience in the industry in the areas of sales, IT services and outsourcing.
Johannes Fünger specializes in the consulting area of “Building and Transforming IT Organizations”. This includes the management and design of restructuring processes, the management of turnarounds, provider management as well as the planning and realization of optimization projects in IT organizations. One focus is on professional change management and on supporting IT decision-makers in the sustainable implementation of changes in their organization.
After studying computer science at the University of Applied Sciences in Dortmund, Johannes Fünger started his professional career as a consultant and project manager and later moved into sales. He built up his IT services and outsourcing expertise for customers in various industries – consulting firms, the automotive industry, aviation, public administration, banks and insurance companies. As a managing director he managed numerous organizational transformations in terms of stabilization, quality and cost optimization of IT organizations up to the establishment of a global service organization with the ability to perform complex outsourcing projects.
